As a volunteer you will be surrounded by children aged 6 months to 6 years.You will work within a team of highly educated kindergarten teachers. AFS Intercultural Programs and AFS USA, our member organization in the US, are proud to invite Generation Study Abroad partners, leaders in education, faculty members, teachers and students to participate in a highly interactive workshop, “ Fostering Global Competency and Creating Pathways to Study Abroad ”, which will precede the 2016 IIE Generation Study Abroad Summit.

There are local AFS staff and volunteers in every host country, as well as a Support Staff here in the U.S. – there will always be someone on-call, 24/7. AFS is an inclusive community of global citizens committed to fostering intercultural learning as a powerful peace-building tool. Within the Volunteer Program, AFS Germany offers the possibility to work at a bilingual Montessori Kindergarten in Germany. There are six volunteer spots available in Aachen and Köln. As a volunteer you will be surrounded by children aged 6 months to 6 years.You will work within a team of highly educated kindergarten teachers.
